We cut down 2 trees in the yard and was it ever fun!
Lumber Jake and friend Clint Bastian have conquered the pine with their bare hands!We have about 6 big piles of branches all around the yard that are waiting for the chipper. Not to mention the massive stack of logs that are awaiting their fiery deaths. The other tree that was cut, was a pie cherry tree that littered the yard with its abundance every summer. We were making room for the shed that is currently on the opposite side of the yard. Jake is a very determined fellow. He wants his big shop more than anything in the world right now. Hopefully it will be built this summer.

Wow! Lots of changes (not to mention work!) When do you "break ground" for the shop? Keep posting those pics!

Anyday now the plans will be ready to take to the city. I guess it's up to them when we can start.
I wasn't sure if miracles existed. Now that I've seen Jake and Clint on the tree and not the other way around, I believe. I figured best case Jake would take a chunk out of his leg with the chain saw. Has Dante been accounted for since the tree fell?
