The Old Switcheroo!

So, I sort of got a wild hair and decided to put Aspen in Dante's bedroom! There is a purpose to why I did it so early. I thought it would be good for the kids to get used to being together during the summer when they don't really have to wake up at a certain time in the morning. Eventually we will stack the beds and make a bunk for them. I was not able to lift the assembled bed onto the other one by myself.
They seem to be getting along just fine. They play together pretty good
when no one else is around!
The main reason I set the crib up, is because the only other place we had to store it was leaning against the wall. I thought I would make good use of it as a stuffed animal cage! Not to mention the fact that I am really excited to have another baby! Who would have thought it?!
Aspen's old room is now the new toy room! Hopefully if we have a boy he won't mind pink! :o)

It's funny how you get on these kicks when you're pregnant! It's like, "oh, I think I'll overhaul a room" and the next day it can be "I can barely keep my eyes open" :) Fun stuff!

It's so exciting setting up the room for the new baby. Oh well if you have a boy.. we can just have a painting party for you before it comes! (That is if you want it more gender neutral or boyish.) LOL

Summer will be a good time to start the room sharing! How did they do last night? As far as setting up the baby stuff, the more you can do now, the less you'll have to do then!! :)

The kids are doing great in the same room. Although they have both been really tired around bed time the last couple of nights. I think having them share more than just toys is helping them get along better. We'll give it more time and then we'll know for sure!

Some of my most effective house rehauls have been done while pregnant. It's also a great idea to have a toy room (at least for a little while!) Ours is my best friend! Having one while pregnant is nothing less than genius.
