Sorry everyone, it's been a while. Azayda is always wanting to be held and played with, not to mention the fact that she gets in to EVERYTHING!!!!!! I can't believe what a little troublemaker she is. I can't remember Aspen and Dante being this curious. But we love her so much that it's just cute!
So, Thanksgiving was good! We went to the Newman's first and then to the McCoy's. We were stuffed! I cut my finger with a butter knife trying to cut through some hard pumpkin pie crust.
Friday night about midnight, Aspen started throwing up and then Dante started throwing up in the morning and by the afternoon on Saturday, Jake was throwing up! We had a lot of fun on the weekend.
Everyone got better and then I got stung by a bee! Yes, leave it to me to get stung by a bee in the winter. I was getting some Christmas decorations out of the shed attic and woke a bee from his cryogenic sleep which he apparently was not too happy about. Now, I'm not allergic to bee's, but holy cow! I guess I got an infection and it swelled up huge and got really hot and yellowish in the middle. Yuck! So I made a doctors appt. for Thursday morning...........................
Wednesday night Jake went out to the shop for a while and came back in the house with a deep cat bite on his hand!
When the shop door was open a few days or so ago, a stray cat got in without our knowledge and we found out later by noticing the tent that was partially set up to dry from a scout campout had cat pee all over it. Grrrrrrr! So anyway, Jake had it cornered and grabbed it attempting to get it into a basket to get it out and it turned and bit him on the hand!
So my bee sting appt. turned into a double "animal kingdom vs the Rands" appointment.
We are both on antibiotics and hoping that Jake doesn't end up with rabies! Not likely, but you never know.
Animal control is coming today to set up a trap to catch and quarantine the beast after yesterday's failed attempt to even find it in the shop. There are many places for it to hide in.
So now Azayda is throwing up and terribly ornery.
Life is good.

I'm sorry you're having such a terrible week. Hope everyone gets better quickly.
Oh, man, that really stinks. Hope you guys get better real soon. At least you guys got it before Christmas. Celina got sick on her first Christmas Eve and slept all the next day so she didn't "open" any presents until Boxing Day.
You guys have had some crazy week. No foaming at the mouth now Jake!
Oh my GOSH. That's insane. Leave it to Alana to bring up her high-falutin' "Boxing Day" :) HAHAHA!

Yikes! Did Jake have to have a rabies shot?
I am so sorry about Azayda. It is sad whenever kids get sick, but especially babies. I am sure that you are keeping your washer rolling along! :)
