My observations so far

At most of the intersections around here in Connecticut, when a pedestrian pushes the button to cross the street, traffic in all directions is stopped and the pedestrian can (or does) just walk diagonally across, seeming to take his or her own sweet time. Thus making the wait at the light extremely long. Sometimes known as the Pedestrian Scramble.

There is a language spoken here by some, that is commonly known as Ebonics (Ebony+ Phonics). For more information click here.

The GPS is a priceless commodity.

Although New York City is very close to where we are (about 2 hours), people around here aren't worried too much about monsters attacking or giant gorillas climbing buildings or some crazy infection turning people into dark loving beasts that crave human blood (I'm not talking about Vampires).

Interesting observations. Especially the diagonal crossing of the street. I need a GPS here and I've lived here for 35 years. I know....pitiful! We miss you!
