Bellingham, Lynden, Canada, Seattle, Beach and Cousins

Jake's sister Jennifer at Larabee State Park in Bellingham, WA.
.
.
The kids were just loving looking at all the tiny crabs the were all over the place!
It's always fun to see purple star fish.
Eating icecream with raspberries at the Raspberry Festival in Lynden.
The hunt continues.
Sisters.
Cooling down and posing.
Michael and Johnny in the ole wooden shoe while visiting "The Windmill" in Lynden, WA.
Zayda loves her cousin Michael.
Spot of tea anyone?
You spin me right round baby.
Ginormous leaves at the Peace Arch Park.
Everyone loving the fact that they are standing in Canada and didn't even have to show I.D.!
Sitting on the "Arch".
I thought this was a really good picture of Jennifer.
You'd never guess that it took a lot of effort to get the kids to sit like this and it wasn't even the way I was telling them to.  Oh well, it's a nice picture anyway.
Dinosaur foot, or tree roots?  I say dinosaur!
Yet another attempt at what I thought would be a cool picture but the kids were very tired at this point in our day.

We went to the Pacific Science Center with Jennifer, Michael and Johnny and this was in the butterfly area.  Azayda was a little freaked out by all of the butterflies that were almost landing on her.  It was really funny!
Michael-in-the-Box.
Jennifer the muscle woman.

The kids had fun dressing up in circus outfits.  Although I think Dante was having a hard time figuring his costume out.
This was after was had walked for about a mile and a half in the hot, hot sun.  The kids were not very happy with us.
And then, we dragged them around Pikes Market, insisting they stay right next to us and not touch ANYTHING.  What were we thinking?  It was very crowded that day too!
We promised them we would get them icecream before or on the walk back, but we couldn't find any anywhere!  Poor kids!
The 2 Jennifers!  Jennifer Whittle RAND and Jennifer RAND Taylor.
Squint and Cheese!  Thank goodness for sunglasses!
At least the kids got to play in the "International Fountain" in Seattle by the space needle to cool down.
.
Preparing the sand to bury Johnny.
Jennifer decided to turn Johnny into a mermaid.  He was absolutely thrilled..........NOT
