What A Year So Far!

"The Big Flood". Wow! Just look at that will ya! Jake's office in Bellingham had at least a foot of water, inside the office! The parking lot out back, as you can see, was ridiculously deep. He had to come home and get his chest waders for fishing. All of the computers are ruined and the files in the filing cabinets that were in the bottom drawers. Not to mention anything else that was less than a foot off of the ground. They are moving to a new office until the drywall and carpet get replaced. Luckily our house was in the clear.

Here is Zayda eating her 1st birthday cake! Happy Birthday Baby! She turned 1 on the 4th! The little cake that I made ended up having a fishy looking smile :)

I'm not sure if she was happy because it was her birthday and we had a little party for her, or if she just loves to get her picture taken! Nevertheless, she was a happy 1 year old!

Oh yeah. We got toilet papered on new years eve by a bunch of hooligans that still better watch their backs ;) We caught them in the act, but it was still too dark to see who it was before they all ran off. We had our suspicions though and we got a confession from one of the accomplices! That persons has since made peace with us (lucky for them)!
